Training to treat dogs

Emmett technique practitioner training is designed for everyone from complementary therapists, qualified Veterinary professionals to a dog owner interested in extending their skills. All practitioners are encouraged to enhance their existing practice by integrating the EMMETT technique with their prior training.  We believe that everyone regardless of academic skills should be able to learn how to notice the sometimes subtle signs of pain or discomfort that may cause animals to break down.

Dogs need freedom of movement and their muscles to be soft & supple to create peak performance – a tight restricted muscle causes tendon tears and loss of performance when stressed.

There is no requirement to complete the short course before starting the practitioner course.
